Smoothies are probably the tastiest possible way for you to get one of your five-a-day. And that goes for the kids as well. Here we’ve put together some simple recipe ideas to help you create great tasting and highly nutritious smoothies. But remember to get creative and try adding fruits of your choice. You never know what you might come up with!
Classic Banana Smoothie
Get your hands on:
1 banana
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup yogurt
4 large strawberries
Simply blend the banana and strawberries with the milk and yogurt until you get a smooth creamy texture. Its as easy as that!

Thick Strawberry Smoothie
Get your hands on:
6 large strawberries
1/2 cup of yogurt – your choice of flavour!
1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup of whole milk
Blend the strawberries and milk together until you get a smooth mixture, then add the ice cream and yogurt and whip just a little bit so your smoothie stays nice and thick.

Fruity-Juicy-Mango-Smoothie
Get your hands on:
1 large mango diced
1 banana
1/2 cup of yogurt
1 cup of orange juice
6 ice cubes
Blend the orange juice, yogurt and banana until smooth. Then add the ice and mango and continue blending until the mango is fully mixed in.

Grapelicious
Get your hands on:
2 Handfuls of green grapes
2 Handfuls of red grapes
250ml Grape juice
Juice of half a small lemon
3 Scoops of frozen yogurt
Now here’s the easy bit. Add all ingredients to your blender, hit the switch and you've got one fruity pick-me-up on the way!
