After the success of last year’s demonstration programme Musgrave Retail Partners NI has welcomed back the Livestock and Meat Commission to SuperValu stores across Northern Ireland.
The demos, hosted by a professional LMC demonstrator took place in Heenan’s Newcastle, Trolan’s Portstewart, Long’s Woodburn, and O’Kane’s Omagh. The aim of the demonstrations was to let SuperValu shoppers see a variety of recipes being prepared using promotional products and to taste the end results before making their purchases.
John Kearney, Fresh Food Advisor, Musgrave Retail Partners said “We are delighted to have the demonstrations instore allowing customers to maybe try something new with the meat they buy. Maintaining relationships with bodies like LMC is very important to us and we value their support. We hope to do further work with the LMC and host the demonstrations in more of the stores in the coming months.”
Musgrave Retail Partners sources 100% of beef and lamb sold instore in Northern Ireland, offering customers not only the freshest products but also the best quality.
Cherrie Kenny, Education Services Manager, LMC adds: "In Store demonstrations gives customers the opportunity to see and taste food as it is cooked and ultimately gives them more confidence in the beef and lamb they are purchasing. LMC is delighted to work with Musgrave Retail Partners who only provide Northern Ireland Farm Quality Assured Beef and Lamb to offer their customers a more enhanced shopping experience with the knowledge that the beef and lamb products they are purchasing is the best quality and fully traceable."
