NI Store Named as Finalists in Scottish Meat Training Awards!

Local Butcher Aiden Tierney, from Swift’s SuperValu Lisnaskea has been named as a finalist in the highly acclaimed 2009 Scottish Meat Training Awards.
Aidan has been shortlisted along with three other Northern Irish butchers, to compete in this year’s final. The event, to take place at the Hilton Hotel Templepatrick in early September, is widely regarded as the largest and most prestigious meat skills competition in Northern Ireland, and will see the best butchers from across the province compete.
Commenting on the achievement of Aiden Tierney, SuperValu Store Manager Darren Given said he was delighted: “It’s a real privilege to be named as a finalist for national awards, especially one which highlights the strength and quality of services we provide for our customers here in Lisnaskea. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Aiden, and praise his constant efforts to improve the quality of butchery service which we provide.”
