Ingredients
- 3 Chicken Fillets
- 1 Lemon
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Red onions
- 2 Yellow peppers
- 2 Green peppers
- 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 2 tsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Worchester sauce
- Salt & Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- Large wooden skewers
Cooking Instructions
- Place skewers in warm water and leave to soak for 1 hour. Drain before using.
- Place the lemon juice, garlic, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, brown sugar, Worchester sauce, salt & pepper in a large non-metallic bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Add the chicken and toss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning after 30 minutes.
- Chop the peppers and onions into chunky pieces.
- Heat BBQ to a high heat.
- Thread chicken evenly onto the wooden skewers.
- Remember that each time you add a prawn you add a pepper and onion.
- Sprinkle evenly with salt.
- Arrange skewers in a single layer on BBQ.
- Grill for 3 minutes on each side until cooked.
