In a dry pan, heat to the highest temperature and then sear the ribs for a couple of minutes on each side to seal in the flavour and take out of pan, they will have a lovely caramelisation (make sure you have the add in the cornflour paste and windows open!)
While searing the ribs - In a bowl mix the soy sauce, stock cube, water, garlic, ginger, honey and sesame seeds and spring onions.
Toss the ribs into the mixture and pour all of this into a slow cooker and cook on high for 6 hours. These ribs will be so tender and fall off the bone. At the 5 hours and 30 minutes mixture through well and the sauce will thicken. Just before serving add in the sesame oil and mix. Dress with toasted spring onions.
